About Me

I am a graduate of The University of Kansas, completing my bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2017. I’m  a sports radio broadcaster by trade, currently working for Alpha Media Topeka/WIBW radio as a sports talk host and play-by-play broadcaster. I also provide written content four our station website.

My radio experience began way back in 2009 when I started high school, working at WLTL-FM at Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Illinois. Upon entering KU in 2013, I began working at KJHK-FM, where I worked throughout my college career. While at KJHK, I won awards for sports talk and play-by-play, and also worked in several director roles and as an on-air DJ. I began my professional career with Alpha Media in Aug. 2017, shortly after graduating. My experiences in radio have taken me to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, Power 5 college football games, high school state tournaments and more.

Off the air I have experience as a producer/board op and as a writer. I both host and produce 580 Sports Talk on WIBW, and cover Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State Wildcats athletics as a reporter, writing game stories and other beat-like content for web. Plus, I write features such as football tape breakdowns, columns and more.

Outside of my journalistic endeavors, I’m a huge sports fan in general, specifically of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs. I love to discover new music, go biking and hang out with my dog, Rusty.
